I went for a cache along the road heading from Rawlins to Casper in WY. The snow had drifted up over the fence along the road. The cords said the cache was at this post. The only problem was the 2 feet of snow covering it. So what does a good cacher do? Well I set in the car wanting to know why the owner had marked that this cache was “Available During Winter”. So I got warm grabbed a shovel and a fusee to help melt the snow. After 55 minutes I got to the bottom of the post and under a rock at the base of the post was the cache. I signed the wet log and placed it in a small zip-loc bag I had and replaced the cache. I even put the snow back. Well the snow that did not melt from the fusee.
